The Football Fuel Station Manager will assist the Director of Football Nutrition in various tasks that support fueling for the football program. This position will assist any opportunities in coordinating fueling station operations, inventory, management, and build leadership skills by assisting oversight of nutrition football interns while working the Director of Football Nutrition. This position is not eligible for leave or other benefits.
Performance Nutrition
- Assist with nutrition plans to support performance and body composition goals
- Assist with body composition testing and management of data.
- Assist with the completion of annual sweat testing, with periodic hydration testing, and the creation of hydration recommendations in accordance with Performance Nutrition hydration protcols
- Assist and be present for the creation and delivery of nutrition team educations
- Assist with the creation of nutrition education materials (i.e., handouts)
- Assist in team activities such as practices, lifts/conditioning/training, competitions, and other program events where nutritional support is needed or as directed
- Assist with the education and evaluation of dietary supplements in accordance with the NCAA rules and regulations and the ICA drug test policy
- Assist with athlete weigh ins and outs
- Assist with any nutrition program initiatives
- Assist with locker room needs during home games
- Assist with mentorship of PSU student interns
- Other duties as assigned
Operations
- Assist with nutrition operations in the management of the fueling station
- Assist with fueling product ordering, receiving, stocking, scheduling of deliveries, and management of inventory
- Assist with the coordination of receiving and distribution of products to athletes
- Assist with maintaining fueling station and locker room facility maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation
- Assist with team meals, pre/post game meal and/or training table meals
- Assist with creation of social media content
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred qualifications include:
- Nutrition, Food Service, Kinesiology background
- Management and customer service experience
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional workdays (i.e., early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- At least 6 months experience in athletics

*This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
